Cinema Sound Without Rear Speaker Wiring

The BRAVIA Theatre Quad eliminates the need for complex speaker cabling. Each speaker communicates wirelessly with the control box, allowing flexible placement throughout the room while maintaining powerful surround sound performance. This gives you the freedom to create a premium home cinema setup without compromising the appearance of your living space.

Revolutionary 360 Spatial Sound Mapping

Sony's advanced processing technology analyses the position of each speaker and creates virtual speakers throughout the room. This generates a larger, more immersive sound field that makes audio appear to come from all around you, including overhead, creating an incredibly realistic cinema experience. The system can generate up to 12 phantom speakers for a wider surround sound field.

Dolby Atmos and DTS Performance

Enjoy the latest object-based surround sound formats exactly as filmmakers intended. Whether it's aircraft flying overhead, stadium crowds surrounding you or subtle environmental effects, Dolby Atmos and DTS help deliver audio with exceptional realism and depth.

Intelligent Room Calibration

Every room is different. The HT-A9M2 automatically analyses your room layout, speaker positions and listening location to optimise audio performance. This ensures outstanding surround sound regardless of where the speakers are placed.

Premium Audio for Movies, Music and Gaming

With high-resolution audio support and powerful 504W amplification, the system delivers detailed sound across movies, television, gaming and music streaming. Explosive action scenes, orchestral soundtracks and subtle dialogue are all reproduced with exceptional clarity.

Designed to Complement Modern Interiors

Finished in sophisticated grey, the slim-profile speakers can be placed on furniture or wall-mounted to suit your room. Their minimalist design allows them to blend seamlessly into contemporary living spaces while still delivering reference-quality audio performance.

Smart Streaming Built In

Stream music directly from compatible devices using Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Apple AirPlay 2 and Spotify Connect. The system integrates effortlessly into modern connected homes, providing convenient access to your favourite music services.

Expandable Home Cinema Performance

For customers seeking even deeper bass performance, the HT-A9M2 can be paired with compatible Sony wireless subwoofers, allowing the system to grow alongside your entertainment requirements.
